What we collect

Most of what we hold is what you decide to share with us, along with a little technical data the site needs to run safely.

• Details you share when booking a call, requesting our deck or emailing us: your name, email address, company name (if you add it) and anything you write to us.
• Business contact details from public sources: when we reach out to crowdfunding creators or e-commerce brands first, we use business details (name, role, company, work email) that are publicly available, such as on company or project websites.
• Standard technical data: our hosting provider logs routine information like your IP address and browser type, which is needed to serve the site and keep it protected.

There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site, and we don't profile our visitors.

Why we use it

• To reply to your message, run the calls you book, and talk through a possible collaboration.
• To offer our logistics services to businesses that may need them. Every email we send includes an easy way to opt out.
• To keep the site online, quick and secure.

Legal basis (GDPR): steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries, contacting relevant businesses, and protecting the site.

Business-to-business (B2B) outreach

Besides what we collect through this website, we may gather professional contact details (name, work email, job title, company name and public profile link) from public sources such as company websites, business registries or professional contact databases.

We use these details only to contact businesses about services that may be relevant to them, based on our legitimate interest in growing our business. Our outreach is strictly business-to-business and follows the applicable electronic marketing rules.

You can opt out at any time by replying to our email or writing to info@backer24.com. We'll stop contacting you right away and keep only the minimum needed on a suppression list, so we don't reach out again. Contacts who don't respond are deleted after 12 months, unless a conversation starts.

Who can access it

Your messages, form requests and bookings arrive through our email and calendar. A small number of trusted providers help us run the site and our inbox, mainly our hosting and security provider, our email and calendar provider, and the service that delivers our website form to our inbox. They only handle data on our instructions. We never sell your data or hand it over for marketing.

Some of these providers may handle data outside the European Economic Area, using the safeguards the law requires.

How long we keep it

We hold on to messages and contact details only while we need them for your enquiry and any follow-up, and for no more than 24 months, unless the law requires longer or we have an ongoing working relationship with you. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep just your name and email on a do-not-contact list. Technical logs are kept for a short time only, for security.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you the right to:

• see the data we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it's inaccurate;
• have it erased;
• limit how we use it, or object to it;
• ask us to stop contacting you at any time;
• receive a copy in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, write to info@backer24.com. You can also file a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal, ANSPDCP).

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security provider may place essential technical cookies that are needed to load the site and block abuse; they don't follow you to other websites.
